Energy Solutions Arena

While I was in town I was fortunate enough to shoot another project done by Infinite Scale Design Group. The project this time was the Energy Solutions Arena where the Utah Jazz Basketball team plays. This was pretty cool as we were given an all access pass to basically go where ever we wanted to be able to shoot everything that ISDG designed for the space. There was plenty to cover from banners, panels, and even a huge note with the Jazz colors on it.

This was the note they designed.

I like this shot a lot with the banner in the top right leading to the next banner and finally to the note.

The wall on the right was ISDG's design which wraps around the whole stadium and changes with each panel.
Shooting during a live game was pretty fun, you could really feel the energy.

Even the score board got a make-over with new Jazz signs.

Because of the scheduling of the game, by the time I got outside to shoot some night exteriors the sky was already black. No problem. The next night I shot an empty dusk sky and photoshopped it in.

Sundance 2012

It was another great year shooting the Sundance Film Festival for Infinite Scale Design Group. The theme this year was based around film still and it was amazing what the team from ISDG came up with. I'm always amazed at the level that this company works at and this project was another example. Here a couple of favorites from my shoots in Park City and Salt Lake City, UT. Enjoy.

Home & Design Magazine

2012 started out great with some of my images featured in the January/February edition of Home & Design Magazine. This beautifully designed space from Jenkins Baer Associates was one of the main focal points for the magazine. It was great shooting this ultra modern, young, sleek space set in Arlington, VA. It was a pleasure working with Jenkins Baer and Home & Design Magazine on this great project.  Now go grab a copy at your nearest magazine dealer!

Here are some of the full sized images. Blending existing lighting and bringing in many of my own lights, I aimed to bring out color and texture while still keeping a certain mood to each image.
