Road Biking

I had never shot road biking before this and I was pretty excited to get some scenic images up high in the mountains. I got the chance to shoot Spin Cycle team member Inacio Lopez on afternoon in Immigration Canyon. The light was fading fast up Inacio was a good sport and just kept doing mini laps to pass by my flashes.

One last lifestyle shot and the shoot was a rap.

Biking with Tim Lewin

I got the chance to shoot some photos with 2009 Utah Single Speed State Champ Tim Lewin on the Crest Trail and ended up with some really nice images. Here are a few of the best ones that we came away with.
We saw this mother moose and her two calves from the parking lot. Not a bad start.
My favorite from the whole shoot. I just really liked this aspen grove that's at the beginning of the trail. We spent about an hour in this section trying new angles.

The final shot on the way back to the car. Considering I had about 80 lbs. of camera equipment it was nice to have these great spots so close.

Dancing in the Mountains

I had be trying to get together with Jo Blake to shoot some photos of him dancing and after a long(but well worth it) wait we were able to coordinate our schedules. Joe is getting ready to start another round at Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company and they will have some performances ready by the fall. Here are a few examples of Joe's amazing talent.

The water was a little chilly so we had to do a couple short shoots. Joe was a good sport even though he was dancing barefoot in icy water. He still made it look graceful somehow.

Shootin Guns

Here are some shots of competitive shooter Eric Lichtenberg. Eric competes around the country in various types of shooting competitions using guns from 9mm's to shotguns. I got a couple pointers from Eric about how to shoot properly and got to try out his guns. The big 357 was my favorite, maybe because it made me feel tough like Clint Eastwood. Loading up the 9mm

Notice the shell flying out of the gun.
Uh yeah....Big gun=don't mess with me

Pride Parade- Better late than never

So I know its almost been a month but at least I got around to putting some photos of the Pride Parade up. Here's a couple from a very lively and colorful parade.Slug Magazine was out in full force showing their support for the community.
